I like to think I practice what Abraham Lincoln preached when he said, “Discourage litigation. Persuade your neighbors to compromise whenever you can. Point out to them how the nominal winner is often a real loser — in fees, expenses, and waste of time. As a peacemaker the lawyer has a superior opportunity of being a good man.

My practice focuses on all aspects of Family/Matrimonial Law and Special Education Law.

My Family/Matrimonial Law litigation practice includes, but is not limited to, divorce, child custody, child support, post-divorce modifications and judgment enforcement, and grandparent and third-party rights. Here, I advocate and fight for my client’s rights in the courtroom. I also assist clients in negotiating, preparation, enforcement and litigation related to premarital and postnuptial agreements.

I also take my non-adversarial divorce/family law practice very seriously. I am on the Professional Development Committee of the Connecticut Council for Non-Adversarial Divorce, and am a member of the Collaborative Divorce Lawyers Association of Greater Hartford and the Connecticut Collaborative Divorce Group. I believe that, when possible, parties should try to resolve their differences outside of the courtroom.
