Christine M. Whitehead

The world breaks everyone and afterwards many are strong at the broken places.   Ernest Hemingway

A bit dramatic, but as an avid Hemingway fan and a Collaborative Law proponent, I agree with the sentiment. Divorce is unbalancing at best even in the most amicable circumstances and crushing at worst in a heavily litigated process.  It’s my hope that we, as a collaborative group, can start the rebuilding during our sessions as we tackle issues and reach agreements.  Not above providing food, bringing in therapy dogs, or suggesting a mental health break, I/we all try to do what is needed to reasonably get to a satisfactory “yes.”  Seriously, I’m not a purist and believe the Collaborative process has great flexibility and room for creativity within its protocols depending upon what works for you and your family.  Please call me and let’s talk about your goals. I look forward to working with you and your spouse and his/her lawyer.
